Schulte Roth & Zabel

The firm’s white-collar and government investigations practice is led by experienced trial attorney Adam Hoffinger. Most of the FCPA work in Washington is handled by Hoffinger and Peter White, a former assistant US attorney in the District of Columbia and the Eastern District of Virginia.

Hoffinger is currently representing a former executive at retailer Wal-Mart in the company’s ongoing FCPA investigation into operations in Mexico.

Many of New York-based Schulte’s white-collar clients are large banks, hedge funds and private equity firms.

Partners and former SEC colleagues Howard Schiffman and Charles Clark both split their time between New York and Washington, handling FCPA work related to the SEC.

Peter White represents several individuals caught up in the bribery investigations by the DOJ and SEC into Wal-Mart’s operations in India and China.

Meanwhile, the firm's FCPA practice recently lost Lisa Prager to Holland & Knight.
