Bryan Fields
Bryan Fields was a trial attorney in the Justice Department's criminal division fraud section. In January 2016, he left the department to serve as an assistant US attorney in the US Attorney's Office for the District of Colorado.
Fields arrived at the fraud section in September 2011 through the prestigious Attorney General's Honor's Program, which fast-tracks top law school graduates into positions at Justice Department headquarters in Washington. His previous experience including clerking for Julio Fuentes, a judge on the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit; and for Jan DuBois, a US district judge in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
DuBois, who assumed senior status in 2001, was appointed in 1988 by President Ronald Reagan. Fuentes was nominated by President Bill Clinton and took office in March 2000.
Fields graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2009, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif honorary scholastic society and was awarded the Fred G Leebron Memorial Prize for Best Paper in Constitutional Law.
Fields completed his undergraduate work at Penn in 2006, where he was a member of the parliamentary debate team.
