Bremen’s Prosecutor’s Office has denied reports that German defence company Rheinmetall paid €127 million in bribes to secure a battle tank contract with the Greek military.

Rheinmetall Defence Electronics, a subsidiary of German defence contractor Rheinmetall, has settled a foreign bribery investigation with Bremen’s public prosecutor and agreed to pay a €37 million penalty.
