Sigelman settles DoJ FCPA case with guilty plea and fine

Former PetroTiger co-CEO Joseph Sigelman pleaded guilty on 15 June to conspiring to violate the FCPA and agreed to pay US$239,000 in restitution, according to GIR Just Anti-Corruption. Sigelman was originally charged with six counts, after he was accused of bribing the wife of an official at Colombian state-owned oil company Ecopetrol to secure a contract.
