Brown&Page
Brown&Page was established in December 2008 as a specialist dispute resolution and international contract negotiation firm. It brought together an established team of practitioners with expertise and a recognised track record in international commercial arbitration, alternative dispute resolution, litigation and public international law. Our principal focus is on counsel and co-counsel work, and we regularly work in collaboration with other international law firms. We complement our own team of lawyers with a worldwide network of leading practitioners and academics who may join us on a fully integrated project basis and enhance our own resources. This approach enables us to offer our clients the very best talent available for their specific needs.
The firm’s focus means that we are not hindered by the client conflict issues often faced by teams in larger law firms. This independence, coupled with our ability to work hand-in-hand with our clients’ in-house legal teams or with other law firms in an integrated manner, enhances client satisfaction.
Dominique Brown-Berset ([email protected]), founding partner of the firm, is regularly designated to act as arbitrator, mainly to chair arbitral tribunals sitting in various jurisdictions around the world.
The firm operates from Geneva, with its established reputation as a centre for international dispute resolution, and in neighbouring Vaud, which is at the heart of a vibrant region for technology and biotech companies that have developed around the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, an internationally recognised science and technology campus.
Since its inception, Brown&Page has regularly been included in the yearly edition of GAR 100, which lists the best international arbitration specialist firms in the world. We see this as recognition of the high regard in which our firm’s arbitration practice is held by clients and competitors, both in Switzerland and globally.
