Having established a renowned criminal practice in the north-west, Ian Burton opened a London office at 51 Lincoln’s Inn Fields in 1991.  From here the practice has consistently developed and expanded for nearly three decades.

BCL Solicitors LLP now consists of 15 partners with over 350 years of collective legal experience. We are one of the largest and most experienced corporate and financial crime defence teams in the UK, and our partners have been instructed in most of the significant investigations conducted by the SFO, NCA, HMRC, the FCA and the CMA.
