US tells BNP Paribas to fire senior executives
New York’s Department for Financial Services has told French bank BNP Paribas to fire a number of senior executives as part of its settlement with US authorities, according to Reuters. Citing sources, Reuters reported that New York banking regulator chief Benjamin Lawsky wants BNP Paribas to agree to sack more than 12 senior staff if it wants to settle its US sanctions case.
