EU court rules against EU council in Russia sanctions case

Europe’s second-highest court has sided with Arkady Rotenberg, a Russian businessman and Vladimir Putin’s judo sparring partner, stating that the Council of Europe made significant errors in its reasoning to impose sanctions on him.
