China’s ZTE fined US$1.2 billion over US sanctions violations
Chinese telecoms equipment manufacturer ZTE has agreed to plead guilty and pay a US$892 million penalty, with a further US$300 million suspended fine, over allegations the company breached US laws restricting the sale of technology to Iran and North Korea.
