Second Circuit Rules in Favor of Whistleblower, Creates Ambiguity in Dodd-Frank
By making the ruling, the Second Circuit has created ambiguity over the interpretation of Dodd-Frank’s whistleblower provisions. In 2013, the Fifth Circuit ruled in Asadi v. GE Energy that Dodd-Frank does not protect whistleblowers who disclose internally.
