U.S. Calls Rejection of Fokker Services DPA 'Unprecedented'
In a reply brief on Monday, the Justice Department said U.S. District Judge Richard Leon's nixing of a deferred prosecution agreement with a Dutch aerospace services provider "violates the separation of powers and contravenes the principle of prosecutorial discretion." Oral arguments are slated for Sept. 11 in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
