Like some weird pastiche of The Hurt Locker and the UN's corruption-riddled Oil for Food Program, the ongoing saga of a UK-manufactured 'bomb detector' in widespread use throughout Iraq, the ADE 651, made headlines this week, and at once became a staggeringly creative coda to a decade of graft and mayhem produced by the war.
