Rejection of Extractive Industries Transparency Rule Irrelevant to Conflict Minerals, SEC Argues

An order last week vacating the rule implementing section 1504 of Dodd-Frank isn't relevant to a challenge to the rule implementing section 1502 of the financial reform law, the Securities and Exchange Commission argued.
