Monaco: DOJ won’t prosecute companies for misconduct disclosed shortly after acquisitions
US Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco announced a new “Safe Harbor” policy that will allow acquiring companies to qualify for a presumption of a declination if they disclose criminal misconduct within six months of closing an M&A deal.
