Marubeni Pleads Guilty, Will Pay $88M over Foreign Bribery Charges

The government accused the Japanese trading company of bribing high-ranking Indonesian officials to secure an electricity contract as part of a joint venture with a U.S. subsidiary of French power-equipment maker Alstom SA.
