Magyar Telekom executive settles SEC’s FCPA charges ahead of trial

In the run-up to a jury trial scheduled for May, one of the defendants in the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s long-running Magyar Telekom case has agreed to pay US$60,000 to resolve the agency’s foreign bribery charges.
