Haiti, Graft, and the Case of the Idaho "Kidnappers"

Yesterday's protest in Port-au-Prince--expressing anger over an increasingly complex global relief effort--was the largest since the January 12 earthquake that killed more than 200,000 people and left over 1 million homeless.Unfortunately, it was overshadowed by the continuing saga of the 10 American Baptists who, on a mission to Haiti on behalf the New Life Children's Refuge, tried to take a busload of children overland to the Dominican Republic, and have been arrested on kidnapping and conspiracy charges.
