Former Alstom exec’s sentence lowered after 'undoubtedly harsh' detention experience
After sleeping in a 56-bed dorm in a detention centre where inmates committed suicide and died from neglect, a former Alstom executive who pleaded guilty to FCPA violations was entitled to a lower sentence, a Connecticut judge said.
