DOJ says lawyer for ex-Mozambique minister has conflicts in Tuna Bonds case

Prosecutors asked a Brooklyn federal judge to hold a “Curcio” hearing to determine whether counsel to a former Mozambique finance minister accused in the massive “tuna bonds” scandal has conflicts of interest in the case. They asked the judge to order the lawyer to reveal who is paying for the defendant’s legal bills.
