Alcatel-Lucent's FCPA Roller Coaster Continues
According to its most recent regulatory filing, the global telecommunications company Alcatel-Lucent has reached an agreement with the DOJ and SEC to pay some $137 million to settle charges the company violated the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act for bribes paid in Costa Rica, Taiwan and Kenya.
