White & Case
White & Case’s Washington presence is anchored by dual FCPA veteran Darryl Lew.
Lew, the head of White & Case’s global white-collar practice, combines expertise in white-collar investigations with experience in antitrust violations to help corporations create strong compliance programmes. He also manages investigations into financial misconduct before the SEC and DOJ.
Lew also has clients involved in Libor and Forex-related matters.
Also advising on FCPA matters in Washington are Bill Currier and Daniel Levin.
Currier has served as an assistant director at the SEC and as a District of Columbia federal prosecutor. Levin held top legal positions during the George W Bush administration including chief of staff to the FBI director, acting chief of the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel and senior associate counsel to the president and legal adviser to the National Security Council.
The firm recently lost former FCPA prosecutor Kathleen Hamann, a prosecutor in the DOJ criminal division fraud section’s FCPA unit until 2014 and a former US foreign service officer. She went to Pierce Atwood.
