William Wong is a Hong-Kong based consultant in Clifford Chance’s litigation and dispute resolution practice. He is admitted in Hong Kong, and England and Wales, and he has more than 10 years of experience in financial services litigation, white-collar crime and all aspects of contentious regulatory work, and he regularly advises a broad range of institutional clients (investment banks, private banks, insurance companies, hedge funds and asset managers) and individual clients (senior executives of listed corporations and financial institutions) in local and cross-border regulatory investigations. He also advises on tech and cryto-related issues, commercial litigation and employment-related matters from time to time.

Before joining Clifford Chance, William had held in-house positions at two bulge-bracket investment banks, advising on their regulatory and compliance issues and internal investigations. With his in-house experience and trilingual capability, William is a popular counsel of choice, particularly when clients require first-class advice and Chinese language support.
