Victor’s practice is focused on the resolution of commercial and corporate disputes. He has acted as counsel and as arbitrator in a significant number of domestic and international arbitrations and in litigation before state courts, involving disputes derived from contracts for the international sale of goods, share purchase agreements, energy and infrastructure projects, M&A transactions, shareholders’ agreements, joint venture contracts, distributorship and franchise agreements. Victor also regularly advises parties in mediation and other forms of ADR.

He is a Vice President of ICC México’s Commission on Arbitration and ADR for the (2017-2020) and the General Director of the Mexican Institute of Arbitration since 2019. Victor is the immediate past Chair of the Commercial Law Commission of the Mexican Bar Association (Barra Mexicana, Colegio de Abogados, AC) from 2015 to 2018. Victor is also a member of the Arbitration and Mediation Commission of CANACO and of the ICC Latin American Arbitration Group.
