Tom Littlechild is Wells Fargo’s international lead counsel for financial crimes. In this role, he advises primarily on the laws governing financial and trade sanctions, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption, as well as investigations, compliance, market abuse, ethics and regulatory matters. He also regularly lectures at universities and speaks at industry conferences on these topics.
Tom was previously Santander UK’s dedicated financial crime lawyer and, prior to that, a senior associate at Ropes and Gray specialising in white-collar crime, investigations and compliance. Before Ropes, he spent more than four years as an associate at white-collar crime boutique Byrne and Partners, having originally trained and qualified with Allen & Overy. Tom graduated from Durham University with first-class honours and attended law school in London at both BPP University and the University of Law.
