Thomas Lapierre focuses on white-collar crime defence. He represents both companies and individuals in criminal proceedings in complex financial matters. Recently, he has worked on cases involving allegations of international corruption, violations of international trade sanctions, and fraud on financial markets and market manipulation allegations.
He also advises companies and their executives on the implementation of anti-corruption and money laundering compliance programmes.
Prior to joining Navacelle in 2020, Thomas practised within the firm Szpiner Toby Ayela Semerdjian, where he specialised in criminal law and white-collar crime defence, gaining valuable experience in criminal procedure and complex allegations of financial crime and regulatory offences. He also regularly represents individuals before criminal courts in emergency proceedings as a lawyer appointed by the Paris Bar.
