Suzanne Jaffe Bloom is co-chair of Winston’s global white-collar, regulatory defence and investigations practice, and a former prosecutor in the US Attorney’s Offices for both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, where she was Deputy Chief of the Long Island Criminal Division, overseeing its corporate fraud and complex white-collar matters. Included in Benchmark Litigation’s Top 250 Women in Litigation, Suzanne is consistently recognised as a top lawyer in whitecollar criminal defence and government investigations in leading publications, including Chambers USA and The Legal 500. Suzanne has extensive experience in trying criminal cases and leading grand jury investigations. She represents public and private companies, special board committees, financial institutions and other organisations, as well as individuals, in all aspects of white-collar criminal and regulatory matters, government and internal investigations, and civil litigation, involving wide-ranging issues including the US False Claims Act, the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, government contracting fraud, healthcare fraud and public corruption, among other things. Suzanne’s experience as both a prosecutor and a defence attorney informs the valuable and practical guidance she provides clients regarding the development and enhancement of compliance programmes. Suzanne also served as counsel to regulators responsible for monitoring several large insurance brokerage firms following a bid rigging investigation.
