Steven is a managing associate in Linklaters’ China dispute resolution practice. He has extensive experience in relation to complex commercial disputes and regulatory investigations, and particular expertise in advising clients on anti-corruption and sanctions issues. Steven’s past experience includes advising a global financial institution on a cross-border regulatory investigation concerning alleged manipulation of foreign currency markets. Steven has acted on two cases before the UK Supreme Court relating to the applicable principles of contractual interpretation and the distribution of client money following the collapse of Lehman Brothers. His previous experience also includes advising a technology company in relation to a UK regulatory investigation and an oil and gas company in relation to English High Court litigation concerning certain offshore exploration blocks. In addition, Steven has advised on disputes before the London Court of International Arbitration. Steven is admitted in England and Wales and Australia and a registered foreign lawyer in Hong Kong.
