Sergejs is an Associate in Al Tamimi & Company’s Arbitration team in Dubai.  He specialises in international arbitration and all aspects of international dispute settlement with a focus on international commercial, investment and energy laws.

Over the last 10 years, Sergejs has gained experience as counsel, tribunal secretary and arbitrator by acting in multiple international arbitration proceedings relating to international commercial and investment disputes.  He has also advised private clients on aspects of international trade, acquisitions and investment.

Before joining Al Tamimi & Company, Sergejs was a senior member in an arbitration boutique firm based in London and Brussels where a significant part of his practice was focused on dispute resolution pursuant to the Energy Charter Treaty, a multilateral energy investment treaty.

Sergejs often contributes articles on topics of international law and alternative dispute resolution.
