Rodrigo Maia has been a lawyer for over 15 years and is focused on anti-corruption, corporate investigations and compliance. He worked in the largest corporate investigations in Brazil. He also participated in the negotiation of relevant leniency agreements, such as Braskem's leniency agreement with MPF, in 2016, the Technip's leniency agreement in 2019, the first leniency agreement executed simultaneously between the MPF, AGU, CGU, DoJ and the SEC, and Braskem's leniency agreement with the AGU and CGU in 2019, the largest agreement executed by the AGU and the CGU. He represents numerous multinational and Brazilian companies in negotiations related to anti-corruption before Brazilian authorities, acting, on many occasions, together with foreign lawyers.
He holds a law degree from PUC São Paulo, a specialization in Tax Law from COGEAE at Puc São Paulo and L.LM in Corporate Law from Insper.
Rodrigo Maia was selected, in 2020, by Global Investigations Review - GIR as one of the 40 most admired investigative lawyers under 40 years old in the world. In 2021, he was selected by Who’s Who Legal as Future Leader in the Investigations category
