Mark is head of the firm’s construction, advisory and disputes practice in the Middle East. Mark has a market-leading reputation in advising on complex, large-scale technical, commercial and legal disputes for clients in the infrastructure, energy, oil and gas and process sectors. He has been admitted to the courts of England and Wales, Hong Kong and holds higher rights of audience in the courts of the DIFC in UAE, and for over 30 years he has led teams and acted as advocate in court cases in  the UK, Hong Kong and UAE and in arbitrations – both ad hoc and institutional (including ICC, DIFC, DIFC-LCIA, DIAC and ADCCAC) – globally. As a consequence he has gained a deep understanding and excellent insights as to how best to prepare and present cases to achieve optimal commercial and legal outcomes and has an enviable track-record in achieving success in dispute resolution (or avoidance) for his clients.
