Kristen McCannon Krishnamurthy is an associate at Barnes & Thornburg LLP specialising in international trade. Kristen focuses her practice on representing and defending clients in anti-dumping and countervailing duty matters before the US Department of Commerce (DOC) and other federal agencies. She also advises clients on customs, export controls and sanctions.

Before joining Barnes & Thornburg, Kristen was an attorney in the Office of the Chief Counsel for Trade Enforcement and Compliance at the DOC. In that role, she litigated numerous anti-dumping and countervailing duty cases involving countries around the globe before the Court of International Trade and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She was also a special assistant general counsel in the Office of the US Trade Representative, where she supported the defence of US anti-dumping duty methodologies in significant World Trade Organization disputes.
