Kohei Murakawa is an attorney (Bengoshi) admitted in Japan (2007) and in England & Wales (2018), and a partner at Atsumi & Sakai. He is a manager of the firm’s dispute resolution practice group. He has extensive experience in acting as counsel in domestic and international arbitrations, including before the International Chamber of Commerce, the Japan Intellectual Property Arbitration Centre, the ICDR of the American Arbitration Association, and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. He has also handled cross-border litigation and investigation and IP litigation related to a number of jurisdictions, including Japan, the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, Belgium, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Australia, Hong Kong, China and Russia. He has a deep understanding of international trade practices and the pharmaceutical industry, IT and platformer businesses.
