Khushboo is a senior associate in the arbitration department of Al Tamimi & Company. She is a dual-qualified lawyer admitted to practise in Singapore and the State of New York. Her practice focuses on multi-jurisdictional litigation and international arbitration. She has represented conglomerates and state entities in a wide variety of disputes pertaining to infrastructure and construction projects, shipping, energy, oil and gas as well as shareholders’ agreement. She has represented clients in major arbitral rules such as the ICC,SIAC, LCIA, DIFC-LCIA, UNCITRAL, LMAA, DIAC, QICCA as well as ad hoc proceedings. Her practice includes representing high profile corporations in multi-party disputes, often exceeding US$1 billion. She has also represented clients before the Singapore High Court and Court of Appeal, the DIFC courts and the QFC courts. Khushboo has also worked at the Office of the Prosecutor at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in the Hague. She frequently publishes articles and has contributed to chapters in books pertaining to international arbitration. She also regularly speaks in conferences and panels on topics such as cross-examination, consolidation proceedings and third-party funding, among others.
