Jonathan Blaney

Jonathan Blaney is a counsel specialising in commercial transactions and dispute resolution. Prior to joining K&L Gates, Jonathan worked at a number of leading law firms advising clients in respect of matters in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Jonathan has assisted in advising on matters under both the civil and common law legal systems. His practice encompasses complex project advisory work, cross-border dispute resolution and international arbitration.

Jonathan’s sector focus is in infrastructure and energy, including oil and gas, but his experience spans to other industries. Jonathan is a member of various arbitration related groups and is currently assisting with the editing of texts relating to international arbitration in the LNG sector and possible reform to investor-state arbitration.
