Jena Sold is of counsel in the litigation practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office. She represents corporations, audit committees and individuals in both internal and government investigations, including investigations by the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulatory agencies. Ms Sold has particular experience with international anti-bribery and anti-corruption law, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Ms Sold regularly advises clients on their corporate compliance programmes, including in the context of government investigations. She has particular experience in developing compliance strategy, and partnering with clients to develop and enhance their compliance programmes, lead programme and risk assessments, perform compliance testing and monitoring, and conduct transactional anti-corruption due diligence and integration.
Ms Sold has extensive experience across industries, including oil and gas, technology, financial institutions, telecommunications and entertainment, with a particular focus on the life sciences sector. She has conducted investigations and proactive assessments throughout Europe and the Middle East, Asia and Latin America.
