Gabriel Sidere is a member of the CMS Corporate Crime and Forensic international team. Mr. Sidere’s practice focuses on representation of international investors in complex commercial disputes, white collar crime investigations, workplace discrimination inquiries, compliance counselling and regulatory enforcement advise. These representations include strategic advice on investment-related disputes, investigations, international mediation, and successful settlement negotiations. In his international arbitration practice, Mr. Sidere has successfully argued motions on bilateral investment treaty claims before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes. Mr. Sidere’s clients include corporations, officers and directors in regulatory, investigative inquiries and trials involving enforcement regulatory actions, criminal investigations, and cross-border inquiries by international enforcers. Legal directories, such as Chambers and Legal 500, continually recognized Mr. Sidere for his litigation and corporate investigations expertise. In their 2020 edition, Legal 500 noted Mr. Sidere’s “Tremendous experience, exceptional legal abilities, prompt action, clear vision, impressive communication skills, very good team coordination”. For over 20 years, Mr. Sidere has supported international investors protect their investments from abusive governmental actions and corrupt actors in emerging markets.

Mr. Sidere is a certified mediator and negotiator with CEDR. In addition, Mr. Sidere has completed the Harvard Law Schools’ Computer Science program and NITA’s trial skills courses. Mr. Sidere is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 1997.
