Evgeny Khokhlov is a partner at Russian law firm Antitrust Advisory, which specialises exclusively in competition law. Before joining Antitrust Advisory, Mr Khokhlov practised competition law in the Moscow offices of various international law firms.He specialises in various aspects of competition law, including abuse of dominance and cartel investigations, compliance programmes, merger and other regulatory filings, as well as antitrust aspects of joint venture agreements. His recent experience includes representing defendants in some of the most significant cartel cases in Russia, such as the Caustic Soda, Norwegian Salmon, Vietnamese Pangasius and International Liner Shipment cartel cases.Mr Khokhlov is an active member of the Russian competition law community. He is a member of the non-commercial partnership Competition Support, which comprises the leading Russian competition lawyers, and a member of the expert council for the IT sector of the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service. He is also a lecturer in competition law at the Moscow State University of Law.In 2008 and 2011, Mr Khokhlov was honoured by the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service for his contribution to the development of the Russian antitrust policy and cooperation with competition authorities. In 2015, he was honoured by the President of the Russian Federation for his contribution to the development of the state antitrust policy.
