Edward Johnson is a partner in the Hong Kong litigation and dispute resolution practice and a member of the Asia Pacific regulatory group. He has over 15 years' experience in contentious regulatory work, as well as commercial and banking litigation, shareholders' actions, contract and employment law and corporate fraud.
Edward regularly advises and acts for major financial institutions, investment banks, fund houses, insurers and listed companies on investigations in respect of regulatory investigations into market misconduct, insider dealing, market manipulation, IPO sponsor roles, electronic trading, short selling restrictions, cryptocurrencies and disclosure of interest provisions. In addition to his extensive advice on a range of regulatory issues, Edward also represents various private banks in relation to mis-selling actions brought in Hong Kong.
