After obtaining his law degree from the University of Toronto and clerking at the Supreme Court of Canada, David worked for twelve years as an attorney and e-discovery expert in New York City: at Debevoise & Plimpton, in the Office of the AG of NY State, in New York City’s World Trade Center Unit, at Xerox Litigation Services and Applied Discovery, and finally as the e-discovery attorney in a boutique plaintiff-side class action firm. As Manager of E-Discovery Services for KPMG, he combines a broad understanding of the legal as well as the technical and operational aspects of how e-discovery. He has been a Relativity Certified Administrator since late 2012. He is also co-author of a research paper, presented at the June 2013 ICAIL Conference in Rome (DESI V Workshop), entitled, “The Challenge and Promise of Predictive Coding for Privilege.”
