Daniel Silver is a partner in Clifford Chance's Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice who previously spent ten years as a federal prosecutor, serving in several senior leadership positions and as Chief of the National Security and Cybercrime Section within the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York. Daniel co-heads the firm’s US Cybersecurity and Data Privacy group. Daniel regularly counsels clients on risk mitigation strategies with respect to cyber security and data privacy, including incident response, data breach notification, planning and prevention, interface with regulators and law enforcement agencies, and related civil disputes.
