Charlotte Wilson is a partner specialising in financial services advice and regulation. Her financial services experience is broad, encompassing the perimeter of regulation (predominantly advising unregulated entities and individuals on whether they need to become authorised), the marketing of financial products, appointed representative arrangements, technical regulatory support in corporate structuring and transactional matters, interpretation of the Financial Conduct Authority Rules and Guidance and advising on UK anti-money laundering and proceeds of crime legislation.

Charlotte co-heads the firm’s fintech group and is particularly interested in the way emerging technologies are being used to shape the regulatory landscape. She is also a member of the firm’s blockchain group, advising clients in relation to digital currencies and cryptoassets, with an increasing focus on non-fungible tokens, decentralised lending platforms and digital marketplaces.
