Charbel M. Maakaron is a member of the firm's Corporate Group, focusing on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory matters. Cited by Construction Week Online as “one of eight people to know in Qatar,” he draws from his commercial and business law experience to advise clients on commercial transactions, corporate structuring, finance and securities, commercial litigation, and capital markets.

With more than a decade's experience of working in Qatar, Charbel is regarded for his knowledge of Qatari laws and serves as a subject matter expert on Qatari legal issues. He advises government clients on legislative projects and has contributed toward the development of laws and regulations in Qatar and the GCC.

Prior to joining the firm, Charbel was the managing partner of a global law firm’s Doha office. Previously, he worked for one of Beirut’s top law firms, where he handled complex litigation matters in civil and commercial law and gained considerable experience in corporate and business matters.
