A senior associate in the firm’s litigation practice, Cáitrín McKiernan focuses on internal investigations, multijurisdictional compliance reviews, and pre-acquisition due diligence on behalf of multinationals operating across the Asia-Pacific region. She speaks regularly about and conducts training on anti-corruption compliance and internal investigations. From January 2019-January 2020, Cáitrín was seconded to a US-listed technology company, where she led the company’s internal compliance investigations in the Asia-Pacific.
Cáitrín is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and first lived in China as a high school exchange student with the first programme that allowed US students to live with Chinese families. She is a former Fulbright Fellow to China, Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar to Taiwan and elected Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
