Ben Brandon is a partner in the white-collar crime and investigations team at Mishcon de Reya LLP. He has recently returned to private practice after 15 years at a leading set of barristers’ chambers in London, where he specialised in extradition, fraud and public law. He has appeared as an advocate in many of the most important extradition cases in recent years, from Abu Hamza to Julian Assange, acting for requesting states and requested persons. In that time, he appeared as advocate in extradition cases before Westminster Magistrates’ Court, the High Court and the Supreme Court. Ben also acts for individuals who are the subject of abusive Interpol red notices, and in cases involving the unlawful disclosure of secret or confidential information. Ben formerly taught international criminal law at the London School of Economics and is a past chair of the business crime committee of the International Bar Association.
