Luciano Feldens is one of the founding partners of FeldensMadruga, a Brazilian law firm that specialises in white-collar crime, compliance and crisis management.
Prior to joining private practice, Luciano was a federal criminal prosecutor assigned to the Federal Court specialised in crimes against the national financial system and money laundering where he led some of the major financial criminal cases in Brazil. After entering into private practice, Luciano has continued to be a leading criminal litigator, representing clients in some of the most publicised criminal cases in Brazil and leading the firm’s criminal litigation practice.
He is Professor of Criminal Sciences at Pontifica Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS).
He holds a postdoctorate in law from the University of Coimbra, a PhD in constitutional law (University of Valladolid – Spain, 2006), a master’s in law (Unisinos, 2000) and a postgraduate in criminal law (Unisinos, 1995).
