US grand jury indicts "flash crash" trader

London-based trader Navinder Sarao has been indicted by a federal grand jury for market manipulation, according to a court filing publicly disclosed on 2 September. Prosecutors allege Sarao, through illegal trading practices, helped contribute to a “flash crash” of US stocks in 2010.
