US Congress: UK influenced DOJ’s HSBC investigation

A US congressional committee investigation has found that the former US attorney general made Justice Department prosecutors drop its prosecution of HSBC for money laundering and sanctions violations following intervention from the UK Chancellor and the UK's financial regulator.
