Switzerland to try individual for HSBC tax leak next month

Former HSBC IT staff member, Hervé Falciani, failed to turn up to his trial on 12 October, Reuters reports. Falciani, who leaked client data from HSBC’s Swiss private bank sparking multiple tax investigations across the world, will be tried in absentia next month for violations of bank secrecy rules.
