Supreme Court to rule on extraterritorial reach of RICO claims

The US Supreme Court has revealed it will hear a case on the scope of the Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. The European Union is attempting to sue RJR Nabisco under RICO for conduct that occurred outside the US.
