SFO refuses US MLAT request for key evidence in Libor trial

The SFO will not hand over witness statements from Tom Hayes’s trial, which a US court says is material to an ongoing US Libor case against two ex-Rabobank traders, because the UK agency fears doing so will prejudice its own pending Libor trials.
